Eloise Mumford Gets Dan Jeannotte To Believe In The Magic of Chocolate in Hallmark Channel's 'Sweeter Than Chocolate'

Dan Jeannotte and Eloise Mumford dive deep in to the mystery of magic chocolate in Hallmark‘s new movie, Sweeter Than Chocolate.

Here’s a quick summary: Lucy Sweet’s chocolate shop has become a Valentine’s Day mecca ever since the rumor spread that eating one of her special Cupid chocolates on February 14th leads to finding true love, which leads a TV reporter to investigate.

In a new interview, Dan opened up about the movie and working alongside Eloise.

Dan spoke to Digital Journal about the flick, saying that “it’s great, it’s a really lovely and fun movie.”

“What really intrigued me about it when I first read it is that it doesn’t just focus on the love story between the two leads. We actually get to see little snippets of a lot of different couples’ love stories, and that’s really special because it adds to the magic of the movie.”

He also shared that “the legend is that you might fall in love soon, and we get to see all the different love stories that happen around these chocolate Cupids” and that “there gets to be a great diversity of love stories, we have older people falling in love and same-sex couples. There is a nice diversity and that means a lot to me.”

As far as working with Eloise, Dan said that they had “great chemistry and that was super important. She’s a great actor with a great range, and I feel like I won the jackpot with her.”

Sweeter Than Chocolate premieres TONIGHT, Saturday, February 4 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.
