2 Fan Favorite Showtime Series Are Getting Spinoff Shows!

A prequel series is in the works, set to tell the origin story of Michael C. Hall‘s character. The show premiered in 2006, and was revived with a sequel series, New Blood.

And that’s not all: “Showtime is also exploring other spinoffs that trace the back stories of some of the show’s most iconic characters. This includes John Lithgow’s memorable Trinity Killer,” THR reports.

Dexter creator Clyde Phillips is set to oversee the franchise.
