Sam Smith & Kim Petras Draw Conservative Christian Panic & Outrage for Satan-Themed Performance at Grammys 2023

Sam Smith and Kim Petras are drawing backlash for their fiery, devil-themed performance.

The two came together to perform their hit song “Unholy,” provoking panic and outrage among conservative politicians and Christian personalities on social media.

During the performance, Sam wore devil horns while Kim sung in a cage with dancers wearing red and holding whips.

“This…is…evil,” Sen. Ted Cruz wrote on social media, responding to political commentator Liz Wheeler, who reacted: “Don’t fight the culture wars, they say. Meanwhile demons are teaching your kids to worship Satan. I could throw up.”

“It’s not surprising to see a satanic ritual at the Grammy’s,” Matt Walsh said as well. “Satanism is the worship of the self. Much of modern pop music is satanic in this sense. Leftism is satanism. The only change is that now they’re being more explicit about it.”
