Lizzo Reveals Adele's Actual Reaction to Harry Styles Winning Album of the Year at Grammys 2023

Lizzo cleared the air about how Adele actually reacted after Harry Styles won big at the 2023 Grammys.

The 29-year-old “As It Was” hitmaker picked up the night’s biggest honor, Album of the Year, during the ceremony on Sunday (February 5). Disgruntled fans took to social media to claim Adele walked out of the venue after the win was announced.

She, Lizzo, Beyonce and Bad Bunny were just a couple of the other nominees in the category.

Lizzo is here to correct the narrative, though, because she filmed the moment that the winner was revealed and caught Adele‘s genuine response.

If you didn’t know, Lizzo and Adele shared a table during the awards show. The Special hitmaker had her camera out and caught the moment Harry won. She was ecstatic and announced that she was “screaming.”

She turned the camera to capture Adele‘s face, and the “Easy On Me” star made it very clear that she wanted the focus to stay on the winner.

“Why are you filming me for,” she asked Lizzo.

If you missed it, she was also seen applauding Harry with a teary expression on her face while he delivered an acceptance speech.

Adele previously revealed why it was very important to her to attend the awards show.
