James Gunn Reveals Insight Into His Talks With Zack Snyder Over DC Universe

James Gunn is opening up about what Zack Snyder thinks about the plans for the DC Universe.

If you don’t know, James and Peter Safran took over control of the property with their deal with Warner Bros. late last year, and since then, have been making some big changes.

In a new Twitter thread, James opened up about how Zack is feeling about the changes.

Zack is recognized as the “architect” of the previous iteration of the DC Universe, which included Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, Justice League, and more.

While responding to a fan on Twitter, who mentioned that Warner Bros. should sell Zack‘s “SnyderVerse” to Netflix, so that the director could continue his movie making there with the comics, James revealed what Zack‘s thoughts were.

“I have to say, this has got to be the wackiest hashtag ever,” he wrote. “1) Netflix hasn’t expressed any such interest (although we’ve discussed other stuff) & 2) Zack hasn’t expressed any interest & seems to be happy doing what he’s doing (and, yes, we too have talked).”

James added, “He contacted me to express his support about my choices. He’s a great guy. Again, he seems really happy with the massive world building he’s doing now.”

Zack, since exiting Warner Bros., has released both Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon at Netflix.
