Linkin Park Releases New Song 'Lost' Featuring Chester Bennington's Vocals Ahead of 'Meteora' 20th Anniversary Edition - Listen & Read the Lyrics

Chester Bennington takes center stage on Linkin Park‘s song “Lost,” which was released six years after his tragic death.

The newly released song is a leftover from the group’s 2003 album Meteora, which featured hits such as “Numb” and “Faint.” The remaining members of the band will pay tribute to the LP’s 20th anniversary with a re-release later this year featuring previously unheard material.

“Lost” is the first taste of that and arrived on Friday (February 10).

“I’m lost in these memories / Living behind my own illusion / Lost all my dignity / Living inside my own confusion,” Chester sings on the chorus.

“Finding this track was like finding a favorite photo you had forgotten you’d taken, like it was waiting for the right moment to reveal itself,” band member Mike Shinoda said in a statement shared with Billboard.

He continued, saying “For years, fans have been asking us to release something with Chester’s voice, and I’m thrilled we’ve been able to make that happen in such a special way.”

Meteora 20 will arrive in full on April 7.
