Hilary Duff Talks Working With Neil Patrick Harris & Hopes for More 'How I Met Your Mother' Cameos on 'How I Met Your Father'

Hilary Duff has big dreams for the future of How I Met Your Father, especially after landing a cameo from former How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris.

The 35-year-old actress opened up about her experience working with Neil and expressed hopes to welcome more stars from the original show onto How I Met Your Father in the future during a recent interview.

Hilary told ET that she was “really nervous to work with NPH.”

“He’s just a stud. He’s legendary,” she continued, adding that she “took him all for myself” while he was on the show.

She added that the team was “really excited” after Neil agreed to the appearance.

“Everything he does is, if he’s hosting something or he’s got a TV show on the air or he’s doing Broadway, he’s just fantastic,” she explained.

In a perfect world, the cameos won’t stop there: “And obviously, our goal is to hopefully collect them all,” she said, referring to other How I Met Your Mother alums. Potential cameos could come from the likes of Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan.

Hilary also has her eyes on getting a major musician on the show.
