Kansas City Chiefs' Mecole Hardman Jr's Pregnant Girlfriend Went Into Labor Hours Before Super Bowl 2023

It’s a very big day for Mecole Hardman Jr!

Hours before he was set to join his team the Kansas City Chiefs at the 2023 Super Bowl on Sunday (February 12), the 24-year-old wide receiver revealed that his pregnant girlfriend Chariah Gordon went into labor.

“OMG HER WATER BROKE 👀👀👀,” Mecole tweeted at 5:40 in the morning. Chariah also shared a Boomerang on her Instagram Story of her in an ambulance heading to the hospital after going into labor.

Mecole wasn’t scheduled to play with the Chiefs in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles since he was placed on injured reserve on February 6 due to a pelvic injury.

Mecole and Chariah announced they were expecting back in October 2022 during their gender reveal party when they found out they were having a baby boy.
