Rihanna Reveals What Fans Can Expect When New Music Arrives, Teases 'Weird' & Experimental Era

It’s been seven long years since the 34-year-old “Diamonds” star dropped a new album. With her gig performing the Super Bowl halftime show, fans have been hoping something will follow before the end of the year.

While nothing has been confirmed just yet, Rihanna did open up about what sort of music she has been creating.

“Musically, I’m feeling open. I’m feeling open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new,” Rihanna said during a press conference with Apple Music on Thursday (February 9).

She continued, saying that she was into doing “things that are different. Things that are off, weird, might not ever make sense to my fans – the people that know the music that I put out. I just wanna play. I wanna have fun. I want to have to fun with music.”
