Zendaya Throws It Back to Tom Holland's 'Umbrella' Performance on 'Lip Sync Battle' During Rihanna's Halftime Show

Zendaya was as in awe of Rihanna‘s performance at the 2023 Super Bowl as she was when she watched Tom Holland dance to “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle.

If you forgot, the real-life couple and Spider-Man co-stars appeared on the competition show back in 2017.

Tom lip synced and danced his way through the icon’s chart-topper while wearing a black wig, leather hotpants and a corset top. The look and intensely choreographed routine left his girlfriend in shock.

Zendaya hopped on Instagram on Sunday (February 23) to let fans know that she felt the same way watching Rihanna by sharing a screengrab of her reaction to Tom‘s routine.

Tom‘s performance is so iconic that some fans were hoping the actor would make a cameo during Rihanna‘s Super Bowl set. Sadly, it didn’t work out that way. However, “Umbrella” did make the jam-packed setlist.

Zendaya was far from the only star who tuned in to watch Rihanna perform at the show. Another musician went to the game solely to see her perform.

In fact, the performance is officially the second-most viewed Halftime Show, and more people tuned in to watch it than the actual game.

The Euphoria actress tuned in all the way from Rome, Italy. Photogs caught her heading out from the Eden Hotel and posing for pics with fans on Monday (February 13).
