Hailey posted a video that featured the above screen grab, and when she began to get called out, she allegedly commented that the post was just for fun and not a reference to Selena.

Fans had mixed feelings, writing comments on reposts of the video including, “i dont trust hailey when she commented on someones post that it was js for fun,” “it doesn’t even matter because selena shines through it all and they keep the same reputation bc selena is what keeps them relevant,” and “i do think that it was towards someone but i don’t think it was towards selena. bad timing.”

Selena saw one fan’s video on the subject and actually issued a statement surrounding all this drama.
