Gisele Bundchen Lands in Rio de Janeiro for Carnival

Gisele Bundchen has arrived in her home country!

The 42-year-old model waved to fans as she left the airport after a flight on Saturday morning (February 18) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

For her flight, Gisele went comfy in gray sweats paired with a tan baseball hat and white sneakers.

Gisele is in Brazil to celebrate Carnival, the Brazilian festival that occurs before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent in the Catholic calendar. This year’s festival runs from February 17 through February 22 in Rio de Janiero.

The day before, Gisele took to Instagram to share a video of herself with friend and famous choreographer Justin Neto showing off their dance moves.

“Getting in the mood for carnival!” Gisele captioned the video as she and Justin danced to “Balança Pema” by Brazilian artist Marisa Monte.
