'Saving Private Ryan' Star Tom Sizemore in Critical Condition at Hospital

Tom Sizemore is in critical condition.

The 61-year-old Saving Private Ryan actor was hospitalized and is currently in intensive care, his manager Charles Lago confirmed on Sunday (February 19).

“He is currently in critical condition and it’s a wait and see situation. His family is aware and waiting for medical updates,” he said to Page Six.

The actor was in his Los Angeles home when he suffered a brain aneurysm around 2 a.m. one day before, and fell unconscious, via a report from TMZ.

Someone found the star and called 911, and he was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Tom has been previously arrested multiple times in the 2000s due to domestic violence and drug convictions, and has spent over a year in jail. In 2003, he was found guilty of abusing then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss following his divorce from Maeve Quinlan in 1999. He had also been arrested in 2019 and 2020 for DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
