Jansen Panettiere's Death: Police Report Reveals More Details

It was just this week that we learned of the tragic passing of Hayden Panettiere‘s brother, Jansen Panettiere, at the young age of 28.

Jansen was also an actor with credits including Even Stevens, Blues Clues, The Last Days of Summer, Robots and Ice Age: The Meltdown, among others.

A police report of what happened on Sunday (February 19) was obtained and detailed the events of the day.

TMZ is reporting that Jansen was supposed to attend some kind of meeting on Sunday (February 19), but did not show up. His friends told police that they grew concerned and someone went to check on him at his apartment.

The site reports that the friend “found him sitting upright in a chair, unresponsive, called 911 and started CPR.”

Skip Panettiere, Hayden and Jansen‘s father, also told the police that he had spoken to his son on Saturday evening (February 18) and he reportedly seemed “okay.”

An autopsy and toxicology report are being run but they might take some time to be finalized. Foul play is reportedly not suspected as his cause of death.
