Nipsey Hussle's Killer Sentenced to 60 Years in Prison

Nipsey Hussle‘s killer is going to jail.

During a court hearing on Wednesday (February 22), Eric Ronald Holder Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for shooting and killing the rapper back in 2019.

Holder was found guilty in July 2022 of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Nipsey.

Holder was sentenced to up to 25 years for shooting Nipsey and an extra 25 years for firearm enhancements added to the charge, according to CNN. He received an additional 10 years after he was convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter for injuring two other men during the incident.

Nipsey was fatally shot outside of his clothing store in South Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. He was 33-years-old.

He is survived by 6-year-old son Kross, whom he shares with Lauren London, and 14-year-old daughter Emani from a previous relationship.
