Robin Wright Would Absolutely Say Yes To Joining 'Wonder Woman' Prequel Series at HBO Max

Robin Wright is just waiting for a phone call about the Wonder Woman prequel series.

The 56-year-old actress, who starred as Antiope in the Wonder Woman movies, who was the aunt to Gal Gadot‘s Diana.

In a new interview with Yahoo, Robin revealed that she’d definitely be interested in starring in the series, which was announced with a handful of other DC projects last month.

“I loved playing an Amazon,” she told the outlet. “I kinda feel like I was the leader of an Amazon tribe in my past life.”

However, Robin says that she hasn’t “received that call yet. Maybe I’m too old!”

Robin‘s Antiope is the general of the Amazonian army, and appeared in both Wonder Woman, and Wonder Woman 1984, despite being killed during a battle on Themyscira during the first movie.

The prequel series, titled Paradise Lost, is described as a “Game of Thrones-ish story,” and set on the island of Themyscira before the birth of Diana.

The show is also said to be based off of the “Paradise Island Lost” comics series authored by Phil Jimenez and George Pérez, which followed a civil war on Themyscira.
