'The Last of Us' Editing Mistake Revealed, Film Crew Seen in Aerial Shot

The Last of Us is HBO’s biggest hit show right now and takes place after a fungus overtakes the world and leaves society in an apocalyptic state.

So, you can imagine the surprise when fans watching episode six saw a film crew in a wide aerial shot meant to convey the emptiness of the land in this new society. The episode in question aired on Sunday (February 19).

Fans noticed that during the aerial shot, there appeared to be three or four crew members, dressed all in black with film gear, towards the left hand side of the screen. They stood out against the snowy tundra that was depicted in the episode.
