Eugene Levy Talks Future of 'Schitt's Creek,' Reveals if There Are Any Reunion Plans in The Works

It’s been nearly three years since the final episode of Schitt’s Creek aired. However, Eugene Levy hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a future for the beloved comedy series.

The 76-year-old star created the series about the Rose family who falls on hard times and moves to a fictional town called Schitt’s Creek alongside his son and co-star Dan Levy.

During a recent interview, he opened up about the future of the show and if there are any plans for new episodes.

Sadly, as it stands right now there are no plans in motion for additional episodes of Schitt’s Creek.

Eugene reflected on the possibility during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“Of course we loved that show and we loved the cast, and we would do anything to work with that cast again,” he explained, adding that, “My son Daniel has always said it really depends on the idea.”

To continue the show, there needs to be one solid thing: an idea.

“If there’s an idea for a Schitt’s Creek follow-up that can take us to an even higher point than we left off on the show, then I think that would be a good starting point for that project. If and when that idea happens I think we’d be more than delighted to actually get in and do it again. But nothing right now.”

While there aren’t any solid plans, another star from the series does in fact have an idea and is willing to resort to bribery to get it to happen.
