Speaking about her past, Kate said she felt like she “failed relationships and family” in the past but that she also saw the other side.

“I knew it was the right thing to not be in those relationships,” she explained. “I knew we’d all be happier.”

“You either stay in them, wondering what your life would have been like if you would have left them, or I choose to leave,” she added.

Looking to the future, Kate hinted at a big question that she’s dealing with ahead of her wedding to Danny - the size of the event.

“I go back and forth between a small wedding and a large wedding,” she said. “My first wedding was so small so there’s a part of me that wants the big bash.”

While that element is still up in the air, Kate added that they did decide on having a destination wedding and making it an “adventure.”

Kate married Chris in 2000, and they share their son Ryder, 19. However, they split in 2007. She dated Matt for four years starting in 2010, and they also co-parent their son Bingham, 11.

Danny has been with her since 2016, and they got engaged in 2021. They are parents to her only daughter – Rani, 4.

On the topic of love, Kate recently reflected on one of her biggest rom-coms – How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. You won’t believe who was almost cast in her role!
