Demi Lovato's Sister Madison De La Garza Reveals She's Been Sober for 230 Days

Demi Lovato‘s younger sister Madison De La Garza is celebrating an important occasion – 230 days of sobriety.

The 21-year-old star took to social media to share the news in a touching video speaking to her ancestors over the weekend.

She also responded to some who rushed to congratulate her in the comments section, offering additional insight.

In her latest video on TikTok, Madison wrote that she had “gone 230 days without using.” The clip ends with her smiling proudly at her ancestors.

“I know they’re proud,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.

Many took to the comments section to wish her well on her journey. Another commenter asked what she had stopped using, and Madison offered some insight.

“I haven’t shared my full story yet for privacy reasons I hope y’all can respect that,” she replied.

This isn’t the first time that the star has hinted at her sobriety. In a video shared in late January, she implied that she had quit marijuana 206 days prior.

“I couldn’t be happier,” she wrote in the caption, adding “#recoveryispossible.”

Demi has also been very candid about their journey with sobriety, speaking openly about her decision to stop all substances back in 2022. Prior to that, they attempted living a “California sober” lifestyle.

Demi and Madison have been close over the years, with the pop star attending her sister’s high school graduation back in 2019.

They also revealed the surprising feature that Madison has on one of their early songs.
