Fran Drescher Probably Shouldn't Have Revealed This Barbra Streisand Tidbit at the SAG Awards

Fran Drescher is the current president of SAG-AFTRA and she was in attendance at the 2023 SAG Awards to give an update on the initiatives moving forward in the organization.

While on the red carpet, the 65-year-old The Nanny actress revealed some info that she probably shouldn’t have made public.

Fran said during People‘s pre-show live stream that she recently got a phone call from the legendary Barbra Streisand, who was looking for information about SAG-AFTRA member benefits.

“I got a call from Barbra Streisand,” Fran said. She claims that Barbra asked her, “Why aren’t I covered on [husband] Jim [Brolin]’s healthcare anymore?”

Fran was asked if she was serious about the call and she said, “I am not kidding, bless her heart!”

We’re going to take a guess that Barbra didn’t want the world knowing about her inquiry about health insurance, but now it’s out there.
