Zachary Quinto Lands Lead Role in NBC's Medical Pilot 'Wolf'

Zachary Quinto is returning to the small screen in NBC’s medical drama series, Wolf.

The series is from writer-producer Michael Grassi, producer-director Lee Toland Krieger and executive producer Greg Berlanti.

Inspired by the books “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat” and “An Anthropologist on Mars” by Oliver Sacks, Wolf will follow a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Dr. Oliver Wolf (Quinto), and his team of interns.

Together, they explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health, Deadline reports.

Dr. Wolf, the Head of neurology at Bronx General, is an obsessive genius. He’s drawn to people that society has deemed “other” and helps them find hope and purpose. He embraces differences rather than suppressing them.

This will mark Zachary‘s first return to NBC since Heroes.

Previously, Zachary also starred in Ryan Murphy‘s American Horror Story.

Just last week, another medical drama was announced for the upcoming TV season. Read more about it here…
