Keanu Reeves Reveals His Dream Superhero Role That Got Away

During a recent AMA on Reddit, Keanu Reeves opened up about any regrets in his career.

More specifically, the 58-year-old John Wick star was asked if he regretted turning down any of the roles in his past.

While he said no, he did reveal a dream role playing a classic comic book hero that he has not yet been able to book.

“I did always want to play Wolverine,” Keanu told a curious fan on Reddit.

Of course, Hugh Jackman has been playing the beloved and clawed member of the X-Men on and off since the first live-action movie premiered back in 2000. He’s set to reprise the role alongside Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming Deadpool 3.

He might have lucked out in the long run. Hugh opened up about the way that playing Wolverine left him with permanent damage. The star also showed off his jacked physique as he prepares to suit up again in the upcoming blockbuster.

Keanu recently revealed the “frustrating” clause that he includes in all of his contracts.
