Lady Gaga Hints at Plans for the Future, Reveals What She'd Be Doing if She Wasn't Famous

Lady Gaga is undeniably one of the most recognizable stars on the face of the planet. However, her plans for the future involve being a little less in the public eye.

The 36-year-old “Bad Romance” pop titan opened up about what she is looking for as she thinks about the future during a recent interview.

She also revealed exactly what she’d be doing today if she wasn’t a famous star.

“I’m actually really interested in living more of a life of solitude. It’s really nice to just have time to be alone, and be expansive, and know that you’re enough,” Gaga told Wallpaper when asked about the future.

“I wish I could tell my younger self that. When I was younger, I spent a lot of time alone writing music. But the more successful I became, the more I felt like I needed other people to tell me I was great,” she added.

As for what makes her happiest today, it’s not attending awards shows with her peers.

“But I’m very much at home working… that’s the thing that really makes me happy,” she said.

And while life is dramatically different for her than it was at the start of her career, Gaga revealed that her drive wouldn’t have changed if she didn’t hit it big.

“If I wasn’t successful in the way that I am today – I’m very grateful for my success – I’d still be doing it, I’d be on the Lower East Side,” she told the publication. “I would do it no matter what. Absolutely, 100 per cent.”
