Rebel Wilson Says Meghan Markle Was 'Not as Naturally Warm' as Prince Harry During First Meeting

Rebel Wilson is revealing the details of her first encounter with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The 43-year-old Pitch Perfect actress got candid during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

During the conversation, Rebel spoke about meeting the royal family in Santa Barbara, Calif., and she had some thoughts about the experience.

Rebel said when she met the couple, Meghan was a bit standoffish while Harry, on the other hand, was “lovely.”

“Meghan was not as cool. She wasn’t as naturally warm,” she said, who revealed they have a mutual friend in common, a polo player.

However, she said the not-so-naturally warm encounter may have had something to do with her mother, Sue Bownds, who was “being Australian,” and asked “slightly rude” questions like: “Where are your kids?”

“And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that! Maybe that’s why she was like, ‘Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?” Rebel recalled.

As for Harry, he “could not have been nicer.”
