Lenny Kravitz Will Deliver the 'In Memoriam' Performance at Oscars 2023

Lenny Kravitz has been chosen to deliver the “In Memoriam” performance at the 2023 Academy Awards.

Lenny was announced to give the performance by executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner and executive producer Molly McNearney.

In addition to those featured in the on-air tribute, more than 200 filmmakers, artists and executives will be memorialized in an extended photo gallery in the Academy’s digital magazine.

Previous performers for the In Memoriam performances include Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Jennifer Hudson, Dave Grohl, Sara Bareilles, Eddie Vedder, Billie Eilish & Finneas, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

The producers will continue to announce talent joining the show leading up to the ceremony.

The first wave of presenters set to take the stage at the big event has just been revealed.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 2023 Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 8 pm EST.
