Nikki Reed Becomes First Woman to Shoot Global Leica Campaign

Nikki Reed is making history with her new photography project.

The actress and creator partnered with Leica to shoot a campaign for the launch of the camera company’s new lens. In doing so, she became the first woman to land a global campaign with them.

She shot the photos while pregnant with her second child on a wild mustang preserve operated by a non profit.

“I am SO thrilled to share that I have produced a global launch campaign for Leica, making history as the first woman to do so. It is not lost on me that I am showcasing life while also quite literally carrying life, making this a moment of celebration for women in every chapter of their lives,” Nikki said of the opportunity.

She continued, saying, “Zooming in from afar gives us the opportunity to observe our world without disrupting its beauty. This lens inspires me to develop my craft while witnessing the incredible moments that bring humanity closer together. Thank you Leica for the opportunity to tell stories with you. I am honored to launch this lens with you, and excited to expand perspectives…together.”

The launch of the project comes on the heels of International Women’s Day and is an impressive accomplishment for women in photography. Congratulations to Nikki on her gorgeous photos and historic project!
