Hannah Waddingham Joins Tom Cruise in 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 2'

Hannah Waddingham has joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 8!

On Friday (March 10), it was announced that the 48-year-old Emmy-winning Ted Lasso actress had been cast opposite Tom Cruise in next summer’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two.

Christopher McQuarrie, the writer and director of the two Dead Reckoning movies, revealed Hannah‘s casting on social media with a cryptic tease.

“And Hannah Waddingham… #Godspeed #DeadReckoning,” Christopher wrote on Instagram along with seemingly a photo of Hannah on set.

As of right now, details on Hannah‘s character are being kept under wraps.

Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part Two has been scheduled to be released in theaters on June 28, 2024.

Dead Reckoning Part One will be hitting theaters this summer on July 14. Along with Tom, the movie will also star Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, and Pom Klementieff – watch the trailer here!
