Selena Gomez Says Francia Raisa's Kidney Donation Left Her Forever Grateful
Selena Gomez is opening up about Francia Raisa‘s selfless act in donating one of her kidneys to her.

If you recall, Francia was a match to Selena and donated a kidney to the star in 2017, after Selena was diagnosed with lupus.

In the episode, which aired on Friday, March 10, Selena reflected about Francia stepping up for her at her time of need.
“I will never ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia,” she shared. “The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming.”
Selena went on, explaining that “it was one of those moments where I felt watched over. I know I was so, so, so lucky. I understand that that doesn’t happen for a lot of people and I know the outcome of some of those situations and how serious they are, so I do not take it lightly that it’s happened to me that way.”
Her comments come just months after Selena named Taylor Swift as her only friend in the industry. Francia did respond to the admission, and unfollowed Selena as a result.
