Joe Jonas Wants to End the Stigma Around Getting Injectables

Joe Jonas is opening up about his cosmetic procedures.

Last year, the 33-year-old Jonas Brothers singer revealed that he teamed up with Xeomin in order to freshen up his appearance.

Xeomin is a “cosmetic injectable that smoothes fine lines using a uniquely purified formula that removes unnecessary proteins.”

In a new interview, Joe talked about getting injectables in his face and how he wants to end the stigma around it.

“There’s a lot of stigma around injectables,” Joe told Byrdie. “I have a lot of guy friends who have gotten treatments done, but they will be hush about it or ask me at dinner if I’ve noticed anything different.”

He added, “I’ve had great conversations about injectables with people who wouldn’t typically speak on it.”

Before getting the injectables for the first time, Joe said he took into the consideration the safety, ingredients, and efficacy of Xeomin.

His first treatment last year was for his frown lines and he’s happy with the results.

“I’ve been really busy lately, but I’ll be back for more,” Joe said.

As he gets older, Joe said he’s focused more now on taking care of himself.

“I’ve smartened up about taking care of myself physically and mentally,” Joe shared. “I’ve learned the importance of how things can affect you as we age. I can’t eat and drink the same things I did as a teen or young adult, even for my voice as a musician.”

“I wake up, meditate, spend time with my Bible, and write a gratitude list all before I text anyone or read an article,” Joe continued. “This helps me be present, and it’s always a work in progress, but it helps to have time before you take on the world’s chaos.”

If you missed it, the Jonas Brothers are heading to Broadway!
