Tom Schwartz Weighs In On Tom Sandoval's Cheating Scandal, Comments On If He Knew & Addresses a Major Conspiracy Theory

Tom Schwartz is speaking out about Tom Sandoval‘s cheating scandal.

If you somehow missed it, the cast of Vanderpump Rules (and all of the show’s fans) were shocked last week to learn that Sandoval had broken up with his long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix amid rumors that he cheated on her with Raquel Leviss.

Schwartz, Sandoval‘s close friend, opened up about the situation and revealed what is going on behind the scenes. He also addressed a hotly debated question about when he learned of the affair.

The reality star even responded to a conspiracy theory linking him to the scandal.

Schwartz weighed in on the situation during an interview with TMZ at the airport. He said that Sandoval was “ok, relatively speaking” but that he had a “sense of profound sadness.”

He added that his friend “feels like a piece of s-it, and, to some extent, maybe he is. But he knows he f-cked up.”

As for Ariana, he let the outlet know that she is in good hands thanks to her group of friends.

“I hope she’s living the good live. Just indulging,” he opined. “I hope she goes on a living spree.”

What about Raquel? Schwartz said that he hadn’t been in touch with her.

Did he know anything about the situation before it became national news? Schwartz remained coy about that information.

“I prefer not to talk about that at the time,” he said. “You’ll see it play out on the show.”

He described the situation as “complicated” and sad, noting “the negative effect it’s having on our business.”

Schwartz also addressed a rumor that he kissed Raquel to “cover up” the affair. He outright denied that.

“Unless I was just a pawn in the game,” he said.
