Activist Malala Yousafzai Shines at 2023 Oscars with Husband Asser Malik

Malala Yousafzai hits the red carpet at the 2023 Academy Awards in a very shiny dress on Sunday (March 12) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The 25-year-old activist arrived in her dazzling dress with husband Asser Malik.

If you don’t know, Malala is an executive producer of the documentary short Stranger at the Gate, which is up for an Oscar tonight.

“I’m thinking about what I’m going to wear, so I am working with the stylist right now, and we are going through different sketches and how the dress should look,” she previously told THR about her prep ahead of the award show.

Malala added that while “it can be pretty scary, but I’m just excited. I am really excited to be in the company of such incredible people who we have admired, seen onscreen for many years and who have impacted our lives.”
