Lady Gaga Goes Makeup Free, Wears T-Shirt & Ripped Jeans for 'Hold My Hand' Performance at Oscars 2023 - Watch Now!

Lady Gaga is giving a stripped-down performance of her Top Gun: Maverick anthem.

The 36-year-old Oscar-winning entertainer took to the stage at the 2023 Academy Awards for a performance of her song “Hold My Hand” on Sunday (March 12) held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Unlike her full-glam red carpet arrival, Gaga decided to perform the song without any makeup on while wearing a black T-shirt, ripped jeans, and Converse.

“Hold My Hand” is nominated for Best Original Song. This is third time she has been nominated in this category – she was nominated in 2016 for “Til It Happens to You” and again in 2019 for “Shallow,” which she won. Also in 2019, Gaga was nominated for Best Actress for her role in A Star is Born.
