Cristiano Ronaldo's Girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez Breaks Down in Tears as She Talks About Loss of Baby Son

Georgina Rodriguez is getting emotional while opening up about the “best and worst moment” of her life.

Back in April 2022, Georgina, 29, and longtime boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo welcomed baby girl Bella Esmeralda, but their daughter’s twin brother tragically died during childbirth.

In the trailer for season two of her Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, Georgina broke down in tears while discussing losing her son.

“Over 40 million people follow me, but no one knows how I really feel,” Georgina says in the beginning of the trailer as footage of her modeling gigs and public appearances is shown.

“This year, I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant,” Georgina continues, as she is then seen sitting alone on the beach by the water.

Footage is then shown of Georgina and Cristiano, 38, holding up their twins’ sonograms along with photos of the two of them in the hospital with their newborn daughter.

“Life goes on,” Georgina says. “I have reasons to move on and be strong.”

“Cris really encouraged me to continue with my agenda,” Georgina adds. “He said, ‘Gio, get on with life. It’ll do you good.’ My priority right now is my family and my children. I’m so happy and thankful.”

Along with Bella, Georgina and Cristiano also share another daughter Alana, 5, plus Cristiano‘s son Cristiano Jr, 12, and twins Eva and Mateo, 5.

Late last year, Cristiano reflected on losing their son.

Season two of I Am Georgina premieres on Netflix on Tuesday, March 24.
