Gwyneth Paltrow to Testify in Her Defense in Utah Ski Crash Trial (Report)

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s trial is about to begin.

The 50-year-old Goop entrepreneur was sued due to a ski crash in Utah in 2016, and she is due to take the stand according to a new report.

The trial is set to begin Tuesday (March 21), and sources tell the New York Post she’s going to testify in her own defense.

Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson sued Gwyneth for $3.1 million in 2019, claiming she seriously injured him when she was skiing “out of control” a Park City, Utah resort in February of 2016.

He claims he was left with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs and a loss of enjoyment of life.

Gwyneth countersued, claiming it was he who rammed into her and delivered a “full-body blow.”

The trial is expected to last eight days.

At the same time, she’s facing considerable backlash on social media thanks to a recent podcast interview.
