Gwyneth Paltrow Arrives at Her Civil Trial, Her Lawyer Promises Apple & Moses Will Also Appear in Court

Gwyneth Paltrow arrives at the Park City District Court for her civil case on Tuesday morning (March 21) in Park City, Utah.

The 50-year-old actress has been embroiled in a civil suit against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson. Today is the first day of the trial over an incident that allegedly happened back in 2016 at the Deer Valley Resort, where the pair allegedly collided. In 2019, Sanderson said in his lawsuit that he was left with “permanent traumatic brain injury, 4 broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life” over the accident.

He added that she “got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured.”

Sanderson is suing for $300,000. During opening arguments for the case, Gwyneth’s lawyers promised that her kids Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, will be seen during the trial and fans are assuming they may testify.

Gwyneth will also be taking the stand today.

The trial is expected to last eight days.

At the same time, she’s facing considerable backlash on social media thanks to a recent podcast interview.
