After being granted his freedom in addition to being ensured the protection of his daughter, Caine (Donnie Yen) is seen walking towards his daughter performing in a public square. With flowers in hand, Caine looks joyful and looks forward to meeting his daughter.

However, still brooding about the death of her father, Akira (Rina Sawayama), eyes Caine in the crowd and pulls out a knife from her sleeve. Just as they are to cross paths, the screen goes black and the film ends.
