Taron Egerton Performs Elton John's 'Your Song' in Throwback Video He Shared for Singer's Birthday

Taron Egerton treated Elton John and his fans with a new video of him singing at the piano.

If you forgot, the 33-year-old actor portrayed the 76-year-old music icon in his 2019 biopic Rocketman.

In honor of Elton’s birthday, Taron hopped online on Saturday (March 25) to share a video of himself getting into character for the award-winning role.

In the clip, Taron sits at the piano wearing a colorful top. He then proceeds to perform the opening lines to Elton‘s hit “Your Song.”

“In honour of your 76th birthday, here is something I found in my phone from nearly five years ago when I was prepping for the movie and trying my best to get under your skin,” he wrote to the “cheeky minx” and birthday boy in the accompanying caption.

Taron signed the tribute “Blodwyn Campervan.” If you were unaware, that is the drag name that Elton bestowed upon him.
