Hugh Grant Reveals the One Movie He Wishes He Could Erase From His Career

Hugh Grant is looking back at his movie career!

On Wednesday night (Match 29), the 62-year-old actor and his Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves co-star Chris Pine appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden where they played a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.”

During the game, Hugh was asked if he could, which movie would he have removed from his IMDb page.

“I would happily shred my IMDb page, my CV, because I’ve specialized in being bad for decades really. I got better,” Hugh started.

“Why don’t we stop talking and name a film,” Chris jokingly interjected.

“As you know, as someone in the industry, it’s one thing to say I was bad, but I can’t bring down the rest of the wonderful colleagues who work with me on any film by saying it was bad,” Hugh continued. “So that’s my dilemma.”

After taking a few moments to think, Hugh finally answered, “The Lady and the Highwayman.”

According to IMDb, The Lady and the Highwayman is “Sashbuckling tale of romance, betrayal, jealousy, banditry, murder, and court intrigue set in the 1660s, during the Restoration to the English throne of King Charles II.”

“Mid-80s, made for television film, I’m a highwayman, I’m meant to be sexy. Low-budget, bad wig, bad hat, I look like Deputy Dawg,” Hugh explained. “When I’m tense, my voice goes up two octaves. Deputy Dawg would come leaping out of trees when a carriage would come past and go, ‘Stand and deliver!’ And it’s poor.”

A poster of The Lady and the Highwayman then appeared on screen and Hugh added, “But I apologize to all of my wonderful colleagues on it.”
