Britney Spears' Husband Sam Asghari Joins Star-Studded 'Grand Death Lotto' Alongside Simu Liu, Awkwafina & John Cena

Britney Spears‘ husband Sam Asghari landed his next acting role, and it’s a big one!

The 29-year-old is set to share the screen with the likes of Awkwafina, Simu Liu and John Cena in Prime Video’s Grand Death Lotto.

The thriller is directed by Paul Feig and is set in the not-so-distant future where people compete in a deadly Grand Lottery. To claim the prize, a winner needs to survive the night. If they’re killed before then, their murderer takes home the winnings.

It has not yet been revealed what role Sam will play in the movie. However, we do know a bit about what to expect.

Awkwafina and John team up after the former wins the lottery. He provides protection so she makes it through, and Simu has been described as John‘s competitor. All three are hoping to emerge victorious.

According to Deadline, the cast also includes the likes of Michael Hitchcock, Becky Ann Baker, Leslie David Baker, Murray Hill, Adam Ray, Taylor Ortega and Holmes.

This won’t be Sam‘s first time sharing the screen with some of Hollywood’s biggest names. He previously appeared alongside the likes of Mel Gibson and Shannen Doherty in Hot Seat. You can see him out in action in the trailer here.
