Andy Cohen Addresses Backlash for Asking Guests if They're Using Ozempic

Andy Cohen is responding to some backlash.

The Watch What Happens Live Bravo host was confronted with a DM from a viewer, which he read aloud during SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, via TooFab.

“Tonight was the third Watch What Happens Live guest who I’ve heard you praise for losing weight and inquiring about Ozempic,” the message read, calling out the star for seemingly praising his guests for taking the weight loss drug.

“Well, you know what? This woman — she’s right,” he said, referring to asking Dolores Catania about her appearance.

“I wasn’t going to come to the reunion looking any bigger than anyone else, so I got on the bandwagon,” Dolores said on the show, confirming she was taking Ozempic for weight loss.

“I said to [Dolores], ‘You look great,’ and she said, ‘Yeah, I lost weight.’ I go ‘Ozempy?’ She said, ‘Yep, you better believe it!’ I was happy that she told the truth about it, by the way, because there are so many people who aren’t,” he continued.

He pointed out that he told her she looked “thin,” but never actually congratulated the star for losing weight, adding it’s a “slippery slope.”

“I’m trying to deliver the goods for my audience watching. I mean, if Dolores shows up looking 15 pounds lighter, I gotta find out how it happened.”
