Jennifer Garner Explains Why Her Kids 'Don't Love' Watching Her Act But 'Don't Mind' Seeing Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner opened up about her children and if they watch her when she’s on the big screen.

The 50-year-old The Last Thing He Told Me star shares Violet, 17, Seraphina, 13 and Samuel, 11, with Ben Affleck.

In a recent interview, she explained that their kids were more content watching their dad act over her.

Speaking to InStyle, Jennifer said that she wasn’t sure if her kids were going to watch her new show and that they didn’t generally watch her projects.

“My kids don’t love to watch me in things. They do to be supportive, but I think it’s a little weird to watch your mom kiss someone or cry,” she told the outlet. “It’s different.”

She continued, saying, “They don’t mind watching their dad. They don’t want to see me sad and they don’t want to see me in a romance. They don’t love seeing me play someone else’s mom, honestly.”

The actress recently revealed how she keeps her kids off social media.

She also opened up about the A-list star who fought for her to be cast in The Last Thing He Told Me and the letter she wrote to convince the team that she should be cast.
