Paula Abdul Has Been Asked 'Several Times' To Join 'Real Housewives'

Paula Abdul could be the next cast member of Real Housewives.

The 60-year-old singer revealed she has been asked several times to be part of the franchise, but has yet to officially join the reality show.

Speaking with Page Six, Paula says that Bravo executives are interested, but things just haven’t gotten rolling.

“I’ve been asked many, many times,” Paula said over the weekend at the Homeless Not Toothless Hollywood Gala, before adding that there are a few “other franchises” interested in her as well.

Paula went on, adding that her joining the Real Housewives franchise would just make sense as she’s “friends with a lot of the women” and has been “for a long time.”

However, she’s okay still being a viewer at this time.

“As much as I am absolutely the biggest fan and I love watching,” she says. “It’s a lot of drama.”
