'Friday Night Lights' Stars Connie Britton & Jesse Plemons Reunite For Robert De Niro's 'Zero Day'

Former Friday Night Lights co-stars Connie Britton and Jesse Plemons are teaming up again for a new Netflix series, Zero Day.
Robert De Niro will star in and executive produce the show, which also marks his very first television series!
The series is an upcoming six-episode conspiracy thriller also starring Lizzy Caplan and Joan Allen.

In Friday Night Lights, Connie played the wife of the show’s main character, high school football coach Eric Taylor. Jesse portrayed Landry Clarke, a nerdy freshman.
Friday Night Lights was about a varsity high school football team and aired from 2006 through 2011. It was based on the book of the same name.
Zero Day follows Robert De Niro as George Mullen, a massively popular, but complicated, former American President who is pulled from retirement to head a commission tasked with investigating a devastating global cyber-attack.
Connie will play a savvy, intelligent political operative who was Mullen’s former Chief of Staff, while Jesse will be a former Mullen “body man” seeking a return to the national stage alongside Mullen.
