Gisele Bundchen Rewears Iconic 2007 Chanel Couture Look at Met Gala 2023, 16 Years After Originally Modeling the Outfit!

Gisele Bundchen has arrived!

The 42-year-old iconic supermodel made a grand entrance at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Immediately upon entering, she twirled around for the cameras and showed every angle of her amazing look. If you’re a big Gisele fan, you’ll know that she has worn this exact look before, over a decade ago! Gisele modeled this piece for Harper’s Bazaar Korea back in 2007, which was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. This specific look is from the Chanel Spring 2007 Couture bridal line.

The theme of the Met Gala this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” and the event will honor the late fashion designer. The dress code for the gala is “in honor of Karl,” who has worked at such fashion houses as Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel. The official co-chairs for the 2023 event are Michaela Coel, Penelope Cruz, Roger Federer, and Dua Lipa.
