The Office

Originally, NBC ordered Season 4 to consist of 30 episodes. After 12 episodes were filmed, production was suspended due to the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike. The strike resulted in a script of a Christmas-themed episode being thrown out. The season was shortened to 19 episodes.
