Eurovision 2023 UK Representative Mae Muller Reacts to Her Low Score With a Hilarious TikTok

Mae Muller knows how to poke fun at herself.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter just represented the United Kingdom during Eurovision 2023 over the weekend, with her song “I Wrote a Song.”

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a huge hit with the jurors or the audience, and Mae wound up coming in at second-to-last place with 24 points, ending up at No. 25 out of the 26 countries in the grand final.

On Monday (May 15), Mae reacted to the disappointing showing with an amusing TikTok.

“dont know about u but i had a fab time x #eurovision2023 #maemuller,” she wrote with the video, which is captioned: “when someone asks me how well i did at eurovision.” In the video, she awkwardly lip-syncs along to a famous sound, declaring “well…well…next question…see ya!”

The winner of this year’s Eurovision joined an elite group of competitors with more than one win to their name.
