Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in October 2022, but she just called him her “boyfriend” in a post on social media. So what gives?

The 41-year-old actress shared a photo with the 42-year-old “SexyBack” hitmaker on Monday (May 22).

In the caption, she simply referred to him as her “boyfriend,” referencing a viral joke that started on TikTok about a week ago. Justin also hopped into the comments section to react to Jessica‘s joke, revealing how he feels about it.

Hopping on Instagram, Jessica shared a selfie with Justin where they are both cheesing for the camera. Why did she refer to him as her “boyfriend” in the caption? The video that accompanied the new pic explained.

Last week Justin hopped on TikTok to react to a comment left on one of his videos. It read: “I don’t know who you are but your girlfriend looks like Jessica Biel.”

He joked about the mix-up in a video, writing, “From now on I’m only going by ‘Jessica Biel’s Boyfriend’” in the accompanying caption.

A week later, and Justin is still in on the joke. He took to the comments section of Jessica‘s post to propose a plan. “I know this sounds crazy but, will you marry me,” he wrote.

Aside from being married for 10 years, Jessica and Justin share two children. The couple has an annual tradition of executing adorable Halloween costumes, often with their kids.
