Joe Jonas Explains How He Feels About Taylor Swift Today, Years After That 2008 Phone Call Breakup

First, a little about their history…

Taylor and Joe dated in 2008, and she infamously went on the Ellen Show that year to announce how he broke up with her.

“Someday, I’m going to find someone really, really great who’s right for me. When I look at the person, I’m not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,” she said at the time.

At the time, Ellen responded, “I’m sorry to hear that and so are the million and millions of other people that just heard that. They’re going to be so mad at him.”

During a 2019 appearance on The Ellen Show, Taylor was asked about her most rebellious act as a teen.

She responded by saying, “Probably when I, like, put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now but that was mouthy.”
