Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Rep Releases Statement Responding to Reports that Car Chase Was All a PR Stunt

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s rep is responding to allegations that their “car chase” was just a PR stunt.

Last week, the royal couple, along with her mom Doria Ragland, said they were involved in a “near catastrophic car chase” that lasted two hours. The Mayor of New York City cast doubt on their story, and lots of speculation followed.

The couple’s rep released a statement to those making light of their ordeal.

“Respectfully, considering the Duke’s family history, one would have to think nothing of the couple or anybody associated with them to believe this was any sort of P.R. stunt. Quite frankly, I think that’s abhorrent,” Meghan and Harry’s spokesperson Ashley Hansen told the New York Times.
